” Steam Games ” WishList For the Next Two Years

Above you can see a printscreen from my Steam Games Wishlist for the next Two Years.

The first game is something similar with All Zombies Must Die that I already have. Orcs must die and Orcs must die 2 have 3rd person view. Both are some sort of Tower Defense where Orcs come in waves and you have weapons or other powers to stop them: traps, spells. These two games are fun to play.

First, I thought that Jagged Alliance: Crossfire is another remake of Jagged Alliance. I played one of the remakes and I saw another on Steam… So I was bored about the idea of remake. However, after I read the description, I realized that this is a sequel. Jagged Alliance is my favourite strategy game.

My apartment collegue told me about Sanctum. It seems that Sanctum is a 1st person  Tower Defense. I love TD games and the idea of a 1st TD seems  very interesting and challenging.

Tower Wars is another TD game from what I’ve heard.

Borderlands 2 and Prototype 2 are games that don’t work properly on my laptop now. I need an upgrade for them. Both are representing the second part of a huge world, interesting combination : rpg, fps and also a  captivating story.

Sid Meier’s Civilization III: Complete and  Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare are games that I’ve played, but are too awesome to not play again.

Some interesting and fun games are Dungeon Defenders, Magicka, Bastion and Toki Tori. These are either TD, either role-playing or fun to play.

R.U.S.E. and his Downloadable Contents are representing a huge rts game something such as Starcraft from what I’ve seen on Youtube. The buildings seem to be almost the same as in Starcraft.

Prototype such as Borderlands are games that I’ve played and finished, but they are also too amazing to not play again.

Spellforce 2- Faith in Destiny is a must have game. I played and earlier version of Spellforce and was amazing. You played with all races and you had all the races as your opponents.

Preview: Need for Speed the Run

The E3 demo, Death From Above, dropped you right in the middle of the action on the streets and rooftops of Chicago, but that’s like reading only a few pages in the middle of a novel. So, here’s a bit of the set-up. Everything begins when Jack gets himself into some very serious trouble, and the only way to solve his problem is to enter and win an illicit, 200-driver race from San Francisco to New York.

In Chicago, where the demo takes place, you (as Jack) are only 800 miles from NYC. Jack is aware that the mob is involved, but in the streets of Chicago, he realizes just how invested they are in keeping him from finishing the race. You’ll also notice that since you’re in the later stages of an illicit race, a lot of law enforcement is trying to bring your Run to an end.

In designing the game, we explored the possibility of free-roam, but decided that in The Run, the ultimate goal is to get from San Francisco to New York City as fast as possible, which means you keep going at all times, rather than exploring the city or stopping for lunch. That’s why the out-of-car scenes, while revealing the story, are all about keeping you immersed in the action, getting you to your next car, and getting you back to top speed as quickly as possible.

Preview: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) will expand upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 12 years ago.

CS: GO features new maps, characters, and weapons and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust, etc.). In addition, CS: GO will introduce new gameplay modes, matchmaking, leader boards, and more.

„Counter-Strike took the gaming industry by surprise when the unlikely MOD became the most played online PC action game in the world almost immediately after its release in August 1999,” said Doug Lombardi at Valve. „For the past 12 years, it has continued to be one of the most-played games in the world, headline competitive gaming tournaments and selling over 25 million units worldwide across the franchise. CS: GO promises to expand on CS’ award-winning gameplay and deliver it to gamers on the PC as well as the next gen consoles and the Mac.”

CS: GO is being developed by Valve in cooperation with Seattle-based Hidden Path Entertainment. The title is targeted for release in early 2012 and will be playable at this year’s PAX Prime and Eurogamer Expo.
